SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 4-9 overall, after traveling to CCBC Essex Tuesday evening for a non conference contest.

 

The Knights controlled the pace of the game throughout regulation. Kylie Jackson led the Statesmen offense with two shots on goal, followed by Angie Finnerty, Celissa Samora-Nixon, and Lana Hatch with one each. Tiffany Hargett was credited with eight saves through 69 minutes of play. Rachel Fields was credited with six saves in relief, through the final 21 minutes.

 

The Richard Bland women's soccer team next host USC Salkehatchie for sophomore day on Saturday, October 22nd. Kickoff is set for 4pm.
