SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College men's soccer team moves to 10-4 overall, 8-3 in conference play after hosting USC Lancaster Friday afternoon.

 

The Lancers got on the board first midway through the first half and would add a second tally before the halftime whistle. Nearing close to the end of regulation, Andrew Retmier played a ball off a free kick outside of the 18 yard box to Edgar Jose Reboredo Martins, who headed the ball past the keeper to bring the Statesmen within one. Richard Bland fell short in their comeback attempt, in a narrow 2-1 loss.

 

The Richard Bland men's soccer team next hosts Cape Fear Community College on Monday, October 17th in a non conference matchup. Kickoff is set for 3pm.
