SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College baseball team moves to 7-33 overall, 7-25 in conference play after traveling to Camp Community College Thursday afternoon for a single, non conference game.
Richard Bland fired up the offense in the second inning. Jamari Pooler drew a walk, scoring one run. Carson Herod led Richard Bland with two hits in four at bats. Reece Hamilton took the loss for Richard Bland. The righthander allowed five hits and five runs over one-third of an inning, walking zero. Connor Sakamoto started the game for the Statesmen. The righty surrendered three runs on two hits over four innings, striking out three.
The Richard Bland College baseball team next hosts Camp Community College in a single, nine-inning game on Saturday, April 28th at 12pm. Prior to the game, the baseball program will honor their sophomores for their dedication and efforts during their time as Statesmen.
