Statesmen Unveil 2026 Women's Volleyball Schedule
South Prince George, Va. – Richard Bland College Athletics and Head Coach Jonathan Amaral have announced the 2026 Women's Volleyball schedule, featuring a challenging slate of regional competition, early-season tournaments, and 15 home matches inside Statesman Hall.
The Statesmen will once again test themselves against quality competition throughout the season as they prepare for Region 10 play and another postseason run.
Richard Bland opens the 2026 campaign with a preseason scrimmage at Hampton University on August 18 before traveling to the Raider Classic at Roane State Community College on August 21-22. The tournament features matchups against Walters State, Cleveland State, host Roane State, and Volunteer State.
The following week, the Statesmen will compete in a round robin scrimmage at Batten University against Virginia State University, Livingston College, and host Batten before opening Region 10 play on August 27 against Pitt Community College.
Richard Bland will then host the Statesmen Classic on August 29-30, welcoming Wake Technical Community College, Cecil College, Walters State Community College, and Delaware Technical Community College to Statesman Hall.
September features a balanced mix of conference and non-conference competition, including home matches against USC Lancaster, Fayetteville Tech, Guilford Technical, Forsyth Technical, and Lenoir Community College. The Statesmen will also hit the road for key Region 10 contests against Pitt Community College, Davidson-Davie Community College, Cleveland Community College, and Wake Technical Community College.
The October schedule includes important home conference matchups against Louisburg College, Cape Fear Community College, Davidson-Davie Community College, and Cleveland Community College before closing the regular season with a long road stretch that includes Guilford Technical, Forsyth Technical, Louisburg, Cape Fear, Fayetteville Tech, and USC Salkehatchie.
The postseason begins October 30-31 at the Region 10 Division II Tournament, hosted by Wake Technical Community College.
Richard Bland will play 33 regular-season matches in 2026, as the Statesmen look to build on the program's recent success and compete for another conference championship.
