Harris Signs with Augusta University

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Rylie Harris, a member of the Richard Bland College national champion women's volleyball team, has signed her national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at NCAA Division II Augusta University, beginning fall 2023.

The Mechanicsville, VA native contributed to much success for the sixth year program. In her rookie campaign, Harris helped her team reach a 19-10 overall record, 11-3 in conference play. The team defeated Roane State Community College in the Southeast B District Championship match, to earn a bid at the 2021 NJCAA National Tournament. Harris appeared in 96 sets and was credited with 541 digs, 30 service aces, and six kills.

In her second season, she helped her team boast a 34-3 overall record, 12-0 in conference play. The team defeated Cape Fear Community College in the Region 10 Championship match to earn an automatic bid in the 2022 NJCAA National Tournament. Harris appeared in 124 sets with 488 digs, 72 assists, 34 service aces, and one kill.

Augusta University, located in Augusta, Georgia is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II and Peach Belt Conference.
