Kaiser Signs with Emory & Henry

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Sophia Kaiser, a member of the Richard Bland College national champion women's volleyball team, has signed her national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at NCAA Division II Emory & Henry College, beginning fall 2023.

The Stafford, VA native contributed to much success for the sixth year program. In her rookie campaign, Kaiser helped her team reach a 19-10 overall record, 11-3 in conference play. The team defeated Roane State Community College in the Southeast B District Championship match, to earn a bid at the 2021 NJCAA National Tournament. Kaiser appeared in 93 sets and was credited with 254 kills, 5 solo blocks, 33 block assists, 264 digs and 11 service aces.

In her second season, she helped her team boast a 34-3 overall record, 12-0 in conference play. The team defeated Cape Fear Community College in the Region 10 Championship match to earn an automatic bid in the 2022 NJCAA National Tournament. Kaiser appeared in 102 sets with 195 kills, two blocks, and 223 digs.

Emory & Henry is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II and South Atlantic Conference.
