SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's volleyball team moves to 28-3 overall traveling to Wake Technical Community College for the quarterfinal round of the Region 10 Division II tournament.

 

The Statesmen topped the Lancers of USC Lancaster in three straight sets; 25-10, 25-14, and 25-10. Sarah Heath led the attack with 11 kills, followed by Silaulauinasimativa Aoelua and Leilani Goggin with 10 kills each. Karagyn Durco chipped in with 37 assists and three service aces. Rylie Harris tallied 12 digs and Jadyn Brown had five service aces in the win.

 

With the win, the Statesmen advance to the Region 10 Division II semifinal match tomorrow morning at 10am against Fayetteville Technical Community College. If they win, the team will play in the championship game later in the day.
