Women’s Volleyball Stomps The Fire Ants

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's volleyball team moves to 1-0 in conference play, 10-0 overall, after hosting USC Sumter Saturday afternoon.

The Statesmen wasted no time getting ahead in each set. Richard Bland won three straight sets; 25-8, 25-12, and 25-10. Leilani Goggin and Silaulauinasimativa Aeolua led the attack with 12 and seven kills through three sets. Karagyn Durco assisted on 28 occasions. Rylie Harris had six digs and Sydney Phillips had one block.

The Richard Bland women's volleyball team next travels to Wake Technical Community College on Wednesday, September 14^th for a 6pm match.
