Women's Volleyball Places Three on All Division Team
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Women's Volleyball team sits at 17-7 overall and 12-3 in conference play while landing 3 spots on the Region X All Division Teams.
Hailey Hopkins earned 1st team honors, while Rylie Harris and Sophia Kaiser earned 2nd team.
Middle blocker Hailey Hopkins garnered 225 kills out of 426 attack attempts for .406 attack percentage. Hopkins earned 9 assists and 1 service ace on offense. Defensively, Hopkins was credited with 49 total blocks, 16 digs, and 4 serve receptions in 72 sets played.
Libero/defensive specialist Ryle Harris earned 4 kills, 42 assists, and 26 service aces on offense. Defensively Harris was credited with 39 serve receptions and 422 digs in 76 sets played.
Outside Hitter Sophia Kaiser tallied 179 kills with 9 assists, and 32 service aces on offense. Defensively Kasier earned 18 serve receptions, 200 digs, and 21 blocks in 73 sets played.
The Richard Bland College women's volleyball team faces Surry Community College tomorrow afternoon in the Region X Division Semifinals with a chance to advance to the championship match tomorrow evening.
