Track & Field Competes at USC Open Outdoor Meet

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland outdoor track and field team traveled to Columbia, South Carolina Saturday afternoon for the USC Open Outdoor 2023 meet, hosted by the University of South Carolina.

Women:

Haniyyah Johnson – Long Jump 14th place – 5.44m, Triple Jump 20th place – 11.09m

Brooklyn Simmons – Long Jump 10th place – 5.50m, Triple Jump 30th place – 10.31m

Swayne Clennon – 200 Meter Dash 45th place – 25.49, 400 Meter Dash 48th place – 59.95

 

Next up for the Richard Bland track and field team is the Mount Olive First Chance on May 13th in Mount Olive, North Carolina. The event is hosted by Mount Olive College.
