Young Commits to Regent University

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Margaret Young, a sophomore member of the Richard Bland College women's soccer team has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at NCCAA Division I Regent University.

The Dinwiddie, Virginia native contributed to much success for the third year program. In year one, the midfielder started in all seven games played and was credited with one assist for one point. Young had seven total shots, with four shots on goal for a .571 shots of goal percentage. In year two, she started 14 out of 15 games and was credited with seven shots including five on goal for a .714 shots of goal percentage.

Young's leadership and positivity on the field will be missed next fall, but her teammates and coaching staff wish her the best of luck moving forward.

Regent University is a member of the NCCAA Division I South Region Conference.
