SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team finishes the season at 5-10 overall, after traveling to Spartanburg Methodist College for the Region 10 Division I Semifinal contest with the Lancers of USC Lancaster.

 

The game remained even through 43 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, the Lancers found the back of the next to take the 1-0 lead heading into halftime. In the 65th minute the Lancers would tally again on a penalty kick off a hard foul in the box. The Lancers would maintain the 2-0 lead through regulation to advance to the Region 10 Division I Championship game tomorrow afternoon. Tiffany Hargett was credited with five saves between the pipes through 90 minutes of play.

 

The Statesmen finish the regular season in third place in Region 10 Division I play.
