SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 3-7 overall after traveling to Regent University Tuesday afternoon.
The Statesmen took the lead in the 25th minute on a breakaway from Lana Hatch. The Royals would even the score, 1-1, right before the 45 minute mark. Opening up the second half, Kylie Jackson found the back of the net off a ball from Lana Hatch, which would become the game winning goal for Richard Bland. Lana Hatch would add one more tally off a restart from Candace Johnson to seal the victory for the green and white. Hatch led the offense with five shots on goal. Tiffany Hargett made eight saves through regulation.
The Richard Bland women's soccer team next hosts USC Lancaster on Friday, October 14th at 3:30pm.
