Davis Commits to Virginia State University

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Seraphim Davis, a sophomore on the Richard Bland College men's soccer team has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at NCAA Division II Virginia State University in Ettrick, Virginia beginning Fall 2024.

 

The Norfolk, Virginia native contributed to much success for the 11th year program. He has been a key member to the men's soccer team being named Region 10 Champions and advancing to the District Tournament in the last two seasons.

 

In his first season, Davis made 12 appearances for the Statesmen. As a midfielder, Seraphim scored one goal, two assists, and have three shots on goal.

 

In his second season, Davis started 14 of 20 games played. He was credited with two goals and two assists, for a total of six points on the season. His two goals were against conference opponents Denmark Technical College and USC Salkehatchie. Davis is set to compete in the inaugural season of the men's soccer program for the Trojans.

 

Virginia State University is located in Ettrick, Virginia and is affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
