Santos Signs with Blue Mountain Christian University
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Ruben Santos, a sophomore on the Richard Bland College men's soccer team has signed to continue his academic and athletic career at NAIA Division I Blue Mountain Christian University in Blue Mountain, Mississippi.
The Armacao de Pera, Portugal native contributed to much success for the 11th year program. He has been a key member to the men's soccer team being named Region 10 Champions and advancing to the District Championship this past fall.
The sophomore, Oakland City University transfer, started all 20 games for the Statesmen in the 2023 season. Santos was credited with two goals and four assists, totaling eight points. Santos was also recognized as a 1st Team All-Region 10 member.
Blue Mountain Christian University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the South States Athletic Conference (SSAC).
