Mendes Signs with Louisiana Christian University

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Duarte Veigas Mendes, a sophomore of the Richard Bland College men's soccer team has signed to continue his academic and athletic career at NAIA Division I Louisiana Christian University, in Pineville, Louisiana.

The Libson, Portugal native contributed to much success for the 10^th year program. Mendes started seven of eight games prior to a season ending injury. He scored eight goals, including two game-winning, and had one assist for 17 points. Mendes was also credited with 13 shots on goal.

Louisiana Christian University is a Division I member of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), primarily competing in the Red River Athletic Conference, RRAC.
