Borders Commits To Mary Baldwin University
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Roman Borders, a member of the Richard Bland College 2nd year baseball team, has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at NCAA Division III Mary Baldwin University, beginning fall 2023.
The Chesterfield, VA native has contributed to much success for the second year program. In his rookie campaign, Borders made 12 mound appearances for a total of 12.2 innings pitched. Borders was credited with five strikeouts.
In year two, he made 11 appearances for a total of 17.2 innings pitched. He was credited with 11 strikeouts. Borders had one win on the season with a 2.55 earned run average.
Mary Baldwin University is a Division III member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the USA South Athletic Conference.
