Statesmen Take Two from Flyers in Beach Volleyball
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College Beach Volleyball team hosted Region 10 foe, Sandhills Community College in a doubleheader dual Friday afternoon. After conclusion of the games, Richard Bland has moved to 6-8 overall, 1-0 in conference play on the season.
In dual one, the Statesmen defeated the Flyers 4-1.
Pair 1: Phoebe Heath & Lovina Teal defeated the Flyers 21-12 and 21-13.
Pair 2: Alexis Scipione & Gabrielle Meador fell to the Flyers 13-21 and 20-22.
Pair 3: Peyton Ostenson & Taelin Connolley defeated the Flyers 21-16 and 21-6.
Pair 4: Braelyn Boyd & Rachelle Martin defeated the Flyers 21-17, 18-21, and 15-6.
Pair 5: Aliyah Millner & Rachel Pickens defeated the Flyers 21-17, 12-21, and 15-13.
In dual two, the Statesmen defeated the Flyers 4-1.
Pair 1: Phoebe Heath & Lovina Teal defeated the Flyers 21-13, 17-21, and 15-7.
Pair 2: Alexis Scipione & Gabrielle Meador defeated the Flyers 21-8 and 21-9.
Pair 3: Peyton Ostenson & Taelin Connolley defeated the Flyers 21-15 and 21-13.
Pair 4: Braelyn Boyd & Rachelle Martin defeated the Flyers 223-21 and 21-13.
Pair 5: Aliyah Millner & Rachel Pickens fell to the Flyers 9-21 and 15-21.
The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team next travels to Wake Technical Community College on Monday, April 7th. The rescheduled doubleheader will begin at 1pm.
